Afternoon Program of Activities at Willmot PS in Term 2 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

I have some very exciting news to share with you today! The NSW Department of Education is running a trial program that provides free activities after school that will benefit students, families and their communities.

The trial is happening at number of schools including Willmot PS to better understand how after school programs:
- Deliver greater outcomes for students – both academic and wellbeing
- Provide more flexibility for parents or carers
- Enhance the school as a community hub

Key Information
- The Afternoon Club program is FREE
- The Afternoon Club program will follow the timetable attached.
- The Afternoon Club will include afternoon tea and then a range of activities with external providers including sports, arts and other activities.
- Your child MUST be registered to participate. Registrations will open from Wednesday 26^th April via paper and online forms provided by the school.
- The program will commence Monday 1^st of May and conclude on Friday 30th June – at this stage the program will run in Term 2 only.
